Produced a series of technical data sheets for a client company's line of modular dc-to-dc converters, handling all phases of the pre-press production including arrangement of photo sessions. These included integration of line art from ORCAD and AutoCAD files.
RP Laboratory prepared a significant portion of a 128-page mail order instrumentation catalog, working from the client company's rough layouts. The finished page layouts in Postscript format were electronically transmitted to the client's phototypesetter for output as 1200 dpi masters.
RP Laboratory worked as the sole subcontractor to write and produce four different series of manuals for CAI's Freedom of Press product line. Freedom of Press is a software PostScript interpreter with several versions to support MS-DOS, Macintosh and UNIX platforms. Our effort included the creation and testing of procedures for installing and using the product under a variety of conditions.
Produced user manuals covering installation, operation and maintenance for different printer models manufactured by our client company. We also prepared several postcard size mailings, ad copy for Thomas Register, and advertising brochures.
